Is your tour kid friendly (i.e. would it be boring to children)?

Absolutely! Kids love our tours! We have them all the time. The tour guides are great with kids and they do a great job of keeping them engaged.

What hotels/location should I stay at so I can easily get to a starting point on one of the tours?

In terms of crowds, traffic etc, would it be better to take the tour on a Saturday or a Sunday?

Our Six-Hour NYC Tours always sell out on Saturdays and Sundays. Usually, if you book a couple weeks before you arrive in New York City, you will be fine. The further you book in advance, however, the more likely you are to get to take the tour on the day you are looking for. Weekdays are less busy, but they often sell out also, particularly during this time of year.

We are driving in for the day only, what is the best way to get to the Time Square starting point of your 6 hour tour?

Your tour sounds like a definite good idea. I do have one question-- we are flying into JKF but staying outside the city in Secaucus (going to a Jets game too) Can you suggest a good company for transportation with the least expense - This is for me and my 3 sons 17 20 26. The air train and subway would be too difficult with all the luggage. Thank you for your help and I will contact you later about the tours

New York City Taxi cabs have flat rate mandate from the city at $45.

There are convenient shuttle buses that run every 15 minutes from all three airports JFK, LaGuardia and Newark for $12 per person.
These are really the way to go as they take advantage of the HOV lanes and do not have to wait for toll stops.

The other option is to hire a car service and arrange for them to pick you up in Secaucus and bring you back to the city. A search for "new york city car service" in yahoo or google will bring up many options.
