Woolworth Building

From 1913 to 1930 the Woolworth Building was the worlds tallest building standing at 792 feet. Construction of the building cost 13.5 million dollars and was paid in full with cash by Frank Woolworth himself. The building has 55 stories and is one of the oldest and most famous in New York. Still standing at 90 years old and still one of the 20 tallest buildings in New York and one of 50 tallest in the United States. This Neo-Gothic style, historic landmark is now owned by the Witkoff Group who bought it for 155 million dollars. The Woolworth Building is located between Park Place and Barclay Street in lower Manhattan.
